DescriptionThe Atikokan General Hospital requires two full time equivalent physiotherapist to complete their dynamic Rehabilitation Team. As part of a multidisciplinary team, responsibilities will include inpatient and outpatient caseloads and home healthcare with clients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. Physiotherapists in Atikokan have the opportunity to participate in a broad range programs and enjoy a practice that is varied and comprehensive.
Located in Northwestern Ontario, Atikokan is a life-style oriented community that offers unlimited access to out-of-doors recreation and is at the doorstep of Quetico Provincial Park, Canada's premier wilderness canoeing location.
The rehabilitation department of AGH is a well-integrated team of health professionals that provide in-patient, outpatient and home-care services for the community. AGH offers a competitive salary and benefit package. Candidates may also qualify for an incentive grant and Under-serviced Area Program of the Ministry of Health. There is also funding available for site visits for interview candidates.
